M. Susan Haley

Outreach Coordinator/Program Administrator, Partners in D

M. Susan Haley is the Outreach Coordinator/Program Administrator for Partners in D.  She is responsible for organizing the many and integrated components of the program and developing and managing partnerships with community groups and organizations that offer Part D counseling to the seniors they serve.

Before joining Partners in D, Ms. Haley managed the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program’s (HICAP) Senior Action Network in San Francisco.   She supervised HICAP staff members and trained them on Medicare Part D and other health-related insurance programs; recruited, managed, and trained volunteer HICAP counselors; and organized and led outreach programs targeting seniors.  As part of her job, she also developed lasting relationships with other local and state organizations involved with senior health issues.  In previous positions, Ms. Haley worked as a community education advocate for HICAP’s Legal Assistance for Seniors program in Oakland, and as an outreach case worker for a psychiatric rehabilitation service in Chicago. 

Ms. Haley earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The Colorado College.  She joined the Partners in D team in 2007.
