Overview

Partners in D offers Medicare Part D counseling to underserved senior Medicare patients during outreach programs in communities throughout California where the seniors live and gather, and in clinics where they receive health care. During these sessions, student pharmacists help patients evaluate their Medicare Part D options and get the most out of their Part D drug benefits, and they advocate for the seniors' prescription drug needs.

Partners in D student pharmacists also share their Medicare Part D expertise with medical, nursing, and other professional students--as well as with practitioners--during peer-to-peer lectures in medical centers, universities, and clinical settings.
